McKinnon Chain are chain suppliers that offer a wide variety of chain suitable for marine applications. It includes a Floating Aid (Buoy) chain, Hatch Cover- and Fishing chain.
These chains are manufactured to international standards, with product integrity fit to withstand the harsh coastal environment, and can have a natural, painted or galvanized finish. The floating aid chain can also be supplied in the zinc thermal diffused condition.
A specialised heat treatment procedure ensures high strength, maximum toughness and resistance to hydrogen embrittlement.
The chain is characterized by its improved wear resistance for prolonged use and undergoes extensive testing during and after manufacturing.
